Information about the 2011 Grants Cycle will be available in January 2011.
If you have an unexpected need please call 802-860-6236 to speak about our Emerging Needs and Oppportunities Fund.
The Samara Foundation mission is to improve the quality of life of Vermont's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender citizens. This year, as in the past, Samara seeks proposals for new or existing projects, programs and organizations that serve the LGBT community and help the Foundation achieve its mission. Grants typically range from $1,000 to $4,000.
Very important. Please note:
-
This year, Samara will fund only projects/organizations that serve a critical need within the LGBT community at the grass roots level.
-
Non LGBT-identified organizations are still encouraged to apply, but only if their project directly serves a critical need within Vermont’s LGBT community.
-
Only electronic submissions will be accepted.
-
Funding decisions will be made in early June.
-
Please ask for only what you need.
Send us your completed electronic submission.
