Vermont Unity Project

Community Needs Assessment

The Vermont Unity Project was a three-year collaboration between the Vermont Community Foundation (VCF) and the Samara Foundation of Vermont.

The National Lesbian and Gay Community Funding Partnership awarded a $100,000 challenge grant for the project;  the money was matched locally, and all funds raised were granted to support Vermont's LGBT communities.

The Vermont Unity Project conducted a state wide individual and organizational needs assessment, and made its grants in accordance with that report's recommendation.  The last grants were disbursed in 2006.
